TOP TEN SUCCESSFUL SOLUTIONS AGAINST DANGEROUS POLLUTANTS 2009

The US-based Blacksmith Institute and Green Cross Switzerland are presenting ten of the most successful programs implemented to clean up some of the most polluted places.

The Top Ten list is based on criteria compiled by a team of international environment and health experts - including researchers from Johns Hopkins, Bloomberg School of Public Health, Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Emory University and City University of New York - serving on Blacksmith Institute's Technical Advisory Board. Specialists from Green Cross Switzerland also contributed to the report.
